We are a specialist consultancy with a background in ERP, Business Change, Business Transformation and Quality Assurance. We have found that many companies, both public and private, under estimate the importance of a robust engagement model to manage the implementation partner, this includes Quality Assurance, Change Management & Governance ensuring the solution being deployed is fit for purpose. We have recently been engaged on Business Consulting assignments where we have ensured the Business Interested have been protected and addressed ensuring the implementation partner deliver against the specification rather than relying on assumptions.

We are able to offer full time SME level consultants to support the business in soliciting requirements, assisting with complex business process flows, quality assurance against the functional specification, end to end test management including test script creation. We are able to deliver Packaged Reporting consulting i.e. suites of Reports (Financial, Procurement etc) that may be out of scope in the original fixed price implementation.

Quality Assurance: As mentioned we feel that the role of Quality Assurance is often overlooked which can have dire consequences. Ensuring that the implementation partner are on track to deliver against the requirement brief is often complex and requires significant depth of experience to be able to hold the partner to account but with a thorough QA consulting role a smoother implementation will take place leaving far less ‘wiggle room’ for the implementation partner. We know that change requests are inevitable within a large ERP Transformation Programme but they should not be signed off lightly without careful consideration against the original design brief or specification or Statement of Work

We have worked on many implementations of Oracle including R11, R12, E-Business Suite and the latest version Fusion. Currently we are working on 2 large Oracle Fusion Programmes within the UK. Both of these current projects are based on the Cloud (Cloud Services). One is a new Greenfield implementation within the Public Sector where we are offering Business Consulting to support the business through this large implementation – services we are offering are ;

We are also able to provide support and maintenance contracts to support the end user within a Live environment, we aim to work on a Rapid Implementation model with flexibility to suite the customer.

GFS started back in 2006 focused on SAP and this remains our core business specialism. In particular we focus on the following areas of SAP

1. SAP Enterprise Performance Management – SAP Consolidation is one of our strongest consulting offerings including SAP SEM BCS, SAP EC-CS, SAP BPC, SAP BOFC and SAP Financial Consolidation. We have demonstrated on multiple projects that we understand the complexities within Financial Consolidation including IFRS, International Accounting Standards, applying Enhancement Packs, Multi-Currency and company restructures/ re-organisations. Out side of Consolidation we have delivered SAP BPC – Planning solutions on both Netweaver and Microsoft Solutions, SAP PCM (formerly Activity Analysis- Business Objects. Recent projects within PCM have been upgrades and migration including additional functionality within PCM 10.0.

2. SAP for Banking – Analytical and Transactional – We have worked on multiple SAP For Banking Projects including SAP Bank Analyser (AFI). We have delivered end to end implementations and supported other consulting partners with Subject Matter Expertise within AFI
